Supercars of Hong Kong. Bentley Turbo R 1980s' with Hong Kong Seven Licence PLate


This frog-like green colour is rather strange for this old British turbo lady. The plate may be related to the "Rugby Sevens" event in Hong Kong.

It is very unusual to bump into a Z1. This one was seen in the Garage of the Gran Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong.  You may note two rarities on this car: 1) Right hand drive. As far as I know, this is the only Z1 anywhere with the right hand drive. BMW says all Z1 were produced left-hand drive. The owner must have customised this particular one. 2) The ZUKUNFT late. The Z in Z1 originally stood for Zukunft (German for future) and would later be used on other cars in the line: the Z3, Z4, and Z8). All of these vehicles (including the Z1) are two-door roadsters (except for the few M coupe and Z3 and Z4 hardtop models).
