Although at "Bread Ahead" they identify themselves as "British Bakery" there is quite a lot of good Italian stuff for sale on their counters. This is a good place to eat high quality Italian-style bakery products if you are in the area of London Bridge or close to The Shard glass pyramid . I trued on different occasions the bread sticks with olives and various kind of focaccia with assorted garnishes like pesto, tomato, olives and more. I did not try the croissants, the cinnamon rolls and the  brownies as they are not really traditional italia stuff. Quality of what I ate was very good. A visit to Maison Assouline, Very Posh Coffee Shop and Bookshop in Piccadilly, London This is a very very good looking place. They sell coffees, snacks, cocktails and refreshments at VERY high prices, and a collection of beautiful art books.  It is worth to spend 5.25 UK£ for a cappuccino just to sit here for a while, in absolute silence, browse the books and see the place.
