These are a few photos from the Grand Palace or Royal Palace in Bangkok, Thailand. Construction of the palace began on 6 May 1782, at the order of King  Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke  (Rama I), the founder of the  Chakri Dynasty , when he moved the capital city from  Thonburi  to Bangkok.     

Just saw in Turin, Italy, this very rare Fiat 500 Ghia Jolly, also known as "spiaggina" or beach car. A short video of the car is here: http://youtu.be/juGtjJXl-ZM This version of the old Fiat 500 was produced by the Ghia and designed by Sergio Sartorelly, then the technical director of the workshop in Turin. The Hong Kong company producing the "Crocodile" brand of clothes has just turned 60 years of age, it started operations in 1952. For this anniversary they have asked local artists and designers do decorate sixty plastic crocodiles. Here are the photos of the decorated reptiles.
