La Cucina, Holbergs Plass, Oslo, Norway. Restaurant Review

La Cucina, Holbergs Plass, Oslo

This is the place where we decided to go for a nice seafood risotto, which was absolutely lovely. In fact, no place in Oslo where they serve seafood did disappoint. The freshness of seafood in this capital city is unbelievable. Any seafood or fish dishes are likely to win your heart in Oslo, no matter what type of restaurant you are trying them in, be it Italian, Spanish etc.

The restaurant boasted with super friendly staff and the unusual interior. The Italian paintings’ reproductions were hanging on the ceiling for the guests to be discovered while they dine. Adding to this spectacle was a group of colourful lamps, creating a touch of a salon atmosphere.

The service was speedy with no long waits. You could call this place child friendly too, as the waiters were extremely nice with children. The only drawback there was no changing table in the toilets.
A meal in the capital will cost you an arm and a leg though. Like other restaurants in Oslo it was extremely costly. €150 bill is really normal for a couple without even a desert!..

Overall it is a very convenient restaurant situated in the very heart of the city centre of Oslo. The delicious food and timely service will not disappoint you, unlike possibly a bill!..
